Technical Characteristics:
The new Alpha Dragon IV engine is a pre-run-in 3-port engine designed for the highest demands. The Dragon IV continues with the advantage of the Dragon III of being easy to break in and adjust, between 3 and 4 full tanks, and you are ready to fight!!

The crankcase has been redesigned to improve intake and exhaust efficiency and the flow of fuel from the carburetor to the combustion chamber, resulting in fewer losses and better fuel efficiency, in addition, an increase engine power and lower fuel consumption.
It is fitted as standard with ceramic bearings, therefore reduced friction, reduced weight, improved longevity.
Additionally, two high quality ceramic bearings are fitted as standard on the Dragon IV, and with less friction, more energy can be applied to the wheels. They reduce friction and weight, which increases engine power when revving.
The crankshaft is equipped with the DEC (Dynamic Equilibrium Crankshaft) patented by Alpha-Plus, which allows a reduction of engine vibrations, better resistance to wear and optimizes lubrication.
This new version of the DEC crankshaft, which can effectively balance the inertial force of the piston pin, connecting rod, and crankshaft rotation, can reduce engine vibration and increase engine power. The timing on the crankshaft has been changed for more power and a more linear power delivery has been achieved when combined with its new piston.
New liner/piston assembly design improves air intake to provide better fuel efficiency, resulting in more horsepower and more linear power delivery.
The piston pin is now hard treated to improve durability and reduce the possibility of flex while being very light.
Finally, the cylinder head has a new shape with an additional fin compared to the Dragon III, it has been lowered to improve the center of gravity, while maintaining a very good cooling coefficient.
